White Sangria

Later this afternoon, I’m headed to a little cookout.  This is a BYOB kind of shin-dig!  First, we young folks are poor, so BYOB these days stands for two things – Bring your own Beverages and Bring your on Beef!!!!

I am more excited about the former…  Since the sun is shining, the mosquitos are back in full-swing and I perpetually smell of sunscreen, it’s time to bring back out the long cotton dresses, menagerie of flip-flops and cocktail umbrellas!  That’s right – Today I’m making white sangria 🙂 … and am probably inappropriately enthused about this!

White Sangria Recipe:

  • 2 bottles Savignon Blanc
  • 2 10 oz bottles ginger ale,
  • 2 airplane bottles rum,
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lime juice
  • mint leaves
  • raspberries frozen into ice cubes

ENJOY!!!! (and drink responsibly ;))
